Mrs. Haley Buzan

Hello! My name is Haley Buzan and I am thrilled about being the assistant principal at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. 

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tres, for almost 10 years and we have one daughter. 

I began my teaching career in 2014 at Saks Elementary School where I taught Kindergarten, 4th Grade Math, and 1st Grade. I also served as the Local Reading Specialist for Saks Elementary School before transferring to Pleasant Valley in January of 2023 as a 2nd Grade teacher. I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University and a Master's degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. 

I feel very honored and grateful to serve the Pleasant Valley Community. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
