Mrs. Haley Buzan

Hi Pleasant Valley families! I’m Haley Buzan, and I’m so excited to continue this journey as the Assistant Principal at Pleasant Valley Elementary School!

I started my teaching career in 2014 at Saks Elementary, where I taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 4th Grade Math. I also had the privilege of serving as the Local Reading Specialist before joining the PVES family in January 2023 as a 2nd Grade teacher. I’m a proud graduate of Jacksonville State University and earned my Master’s in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.

I truly believe that every child can grow, succeed, and shine when surrounded by high expectations, strong relationships, and a supportive school community. It is an honor to be part of that mission here at Pleasant Valley. 

On a more personal note, I’ve been married to my amazing husband, Tres, for 11 years, and we have one daughter who brings so much joy to our lives!
